now i don't really have an issue with the fruit. limes, peaches, raspberries, etc. Oh except for that 1 week when Baby was the size of a prune. that didn't conjure up the most appetizing images (if you've worked in a nursing home or a retirement home.... you'll understand)
anyway, while i didn't have any fruit issues. dave's cousin (coincidentally, my sister's boyfriend) did. he sleeps at our house on weekends when he is up for a visit, and he was having some waffles. (side note: baby was about the size of a blueberry at this point)
so he's eating his waffles and notices that they are just plain waffles. and he thanks me for that.
kirsten: "oh you don't like the blueberry ones we had last time?"
travis: "no it's not that. it's just that if i ate blueberry waffles i would feel like i am eating your baby"
funny? i think so.
so we are careful. we try not to eat our baby's current fruit - just seems wrong doesn't it? or maybe i am just being a little over the top. either way, it's a good thing i don't like plums.
