random things

i don't have a lot of inspiration currently to write anything terribly dramatic or exciting. nevertheless i will try to entertain you with some random thoughts.

1. my baby is going to be a pro soccer player, or wrestler, or something that requires a lot of movement. ooo.... maybe something graceful like a ballerina. i wanted to be a ballerina - yes, you can laugh.

i am not graceful. and i am not athletic. but holy cow - my left side is currently a punching bag for whatever little creature is causing my stomach pretrusion. (or if you don't like the sarcasm... for whatever adorable little baby is responsible for my beautiful, glowing, baby bump).

either way, minus the occasional "ow!!" and push back from me - they make me smile. if you work with me and you have walked past my office and i have an oddly creepy smile on my face.... my baby probably kicked me.

2. as a follow-up-post to the furniture shopping. we went on Saturday. and my husband let me buy exactly what i wanted. i am really really really excited to get it delivered!!

3. we move in less than 2 weeks. (WHOOP WHOOP) fortunately i am organized to the point of being a little crazy and have had a strict "packing schedule" that i have been adhering to since the beginning of October. due to what my husband labels "anal" we have to pack the living room & bathroom this week - and the kitchen next week. everything else is done like dinner.

4. you really should see Water For Elephants. it's very good. and if you aren't into Robert Pattison because you aren't into vampires, you should see it. because i think he redeems himself ... and he looks much better with a tan

5. tomorrow night is our first of four prenatal classes. dave doesn't know why we are going. here is a couple of reasons: a. he doesn't know how to diaper - b. he thinks he can deliver our baby just because he delivers goats - c. he just doesn't know - and d. because i want him to

but seriously - kirsten is being offered a class to learn about something. the good-student-who-reads-FOR FUN. yep. he should've known we'd be going from the beginning

6. everybody needs a sister. enough said.

oh, and brothers too. they will read this and be angry that i didn't mention them. so boys - i love you too.

* well that is probably enough randomness for your day. if you breezed through this post and did more skimming than reading, i don't blame you. at least on thursday you might get to read about our first prenatal class.... and with dave - it promises to be interesting!!

happy tuesday!
