so as my title depicts - this weekend was the weekend of all weekends for a renovation!! ok... so it's a bit of an exaggeration (as usual) - it was more of a much-needed paint job!!
amid the holiday coming & goings i painted a bathroom!! Dave thinks that i am "too scheduled" and "work to hard to get something done in a deadline". but it's just 'cause he cares. And really - he can't complain... I emptied a bathroom, took off the fixtures & cupboard doors, painted the doors, painted the walls, painted the trim, re-assembled the cupboard doors & fixtures, and had the bathroom back to a better normal in 2 afternoons.
so i'm a little proud....
thursday evening we also hung up curtains in our bedrooom. our walls are white - they weren't supposed to look so white... more like a cream - but they're definately white. and for a while I have wanted a headboard to break up all the white walls. but sad story: headboards are expensive
happy ending: a home tour that produced a great idea (credit to mom) and $30.00 later - a new headboardish thing that breaks up the white walls!!
