first days are always exciting. Always nerve racking. And for some reason - this one was pretty fun.
as well - just in case you were wondering (and for those who know me well) - yes.... i did toot the whole way there!!
the morning actually went fairly fantastic. i didn't have to get up until 7:30 AND my hubby came home to have breakfast with me (which won't continue) but he thought i'd be nice to come see me off on my first day!!
and to be frank the rest of the day was pretty great!! of course it was peppered with all the normalities of a 1st day (ie. introductions, human resource policies, etc. etc.). and the rest of the day I reviewed some of the things I will be doing and got comfortable in my nice, new, l-shaped desk & my brand spankin' new computer!!
everybody is super nice. even though they found out my age and have made my "baby status" the brunt of a few jokes.
1 day in and i like it. Not saying alot but it's a great start.
oh - and one more thing - i have my own business cards!!
professional or what?
