bonding?

the other day dave and i were blessed to spend the whole entire evening together and it was............


hard work.


not that i find it hard to spend time around my husband.
instead, it is hard work putting topsoil on the gardens, and then topping it with mulch.

but it looks b-e-a-utiful!!
of course my plants are really small from being planted in the fall... so now it looks like mulch and no plants. but they will come up............... eventually

and of course i forgot to take before pictures.
i have the 'after' pictures

but of course i forgot to bring them with me to post.

so - you'll have to wait.

trust me when i say that the gardens look WAY better.
we even got out the patio furniture
and i am planning on getting some hanging baskets before this weekend.

things have to look good for this weekend.
i am hosting a bachelorette party.
people in my house and in my yard

therefore, cleaning frenzy inside AND out.
but oh, oh, oh,........ it is soooo worth it!
