pre & post events

so this week (ish) has just been CRAMMED full of activities and will continue this weekend.

here's a weekend re-cap:

saturday: relaxed morning with the hubs

afternoon of shopping (for outdoor decor. and hanging baskets) with mom

5pm - 2am BACHELORETTE PARTY: and it was a ton of fun.

we managed to fit 20 ladies into my living

find room for 10 to sleep over

light fireworks without burning down my house

and embarass the bride to be.... again.... and again..... and again......

to keep in PG for my "younger readers" i will leave the description of embarassment at that.

but it was great fun!

sunday: evening with the Whidden ladies!!!
dave managed to get chores off (thanks Arlin) and we headed down to Strathroy for a pool party with the girls and a couple of the husbands/boyfriends.

every time i see them i am reminded of why my 3 years at University were such a blast.

I love these ladies!!

and for some of the boys that don't know each other as well - they had some male bonding time (we decided while lounging on the deck that just because boys throw a football around together means they're going to be best friends - a little naive, but we just all want to get along!!)

either way. it was a fantastic evening.

my desert was demolished by forks - because NONE of the girls use a plate for thier deserts

we broke a bench by the fire

swam in the pool
were reuinted with Carolyn's love of everything.

and remembered why we also labelled Christina the diva (she had a necklace on with her bathing suit, topped off with large glasses, and a hat -- - - - OH but we love her)

and Monday:

we went to Kincardine to pick up a Seed-drill at Corey & Laura's (well, that was our excuse)

and i was able to see my cute niece & nephew.

overall,

a pretty darn fantastic long weekend.

and the weather was gorgeous!

oh, and in 1 more HUGE EXCITING NEWS
my friend Nikki is getting married in t-minus 5 days.
soooooooooooo excited.

oh, and just in case you thought i forgot - last night was the season premiere of...... (drum roll)....
