green thumb?

i think it was a week or so ago that i posted about gardening..... and maybe mentioned that i would put up pictures.

of course
i forgot

but here they are

while i'd like to take credit for them it was a combined effort between my mom, myself, the hubs, travis & jaimie (when i have an idea in mind... i will take as much offered help as possible)

so far we are liking the result

the flowers are really little probably from being planted in the fall, and we have had some flowers spring up from the previous owners that we didn't know existed.

the hostas are all HUGE now from the rain, so maybe i will have to do a "post-rain" post... but don't count on it.

all in all.

funny story!! Remember that bride i blogged about yesterday? she gave me a cat as a joke shower gift. unfortunately she told me it was male.... WRONG.... it's a female. and has since had 5 kittens. they are going to have a present waiting for them when they return from their honeymoon!! (insert evil laugh here)
