is it charm? is it poise?
no its HAIRSPRAY!

no joke.
it. was. incredible.
2 1/2 hours of jam-packed wonderfullness. singing. dancing. acting. singing. more dancing!
if you want to walk out of a theatre with cheeks hurting from smiling... this is the show to see.
i loved every. single. solitary. minute
and it's still playing at the St. Jacobs Country Playhouse
and then re-playing at the Huron Country Playhouse in June/July.
if you have the chance you NEED to go.
(i may or may not be convincing my husband to take me.... even though my dad told me it was cruel to make him take me).
also - you may get the chance to see two women with a strange resemblance to my mother and I dancing in our seats...... (it's not our fault that we take "c'mon st. jacobs" literally and begin to dance. it also isn't our fault that we have no self-respect AND know all the lines.... and most of the dance moves).
overall.
fantastical day.
shopping that equaled some skirts & dresses (all for great deals I might add.... and in smaller sizes than i usually wear .... wooo whooo)
+ lunch out with the girls on the Richmond side
+ hairspray
= pretty great day.
- the part where i have to watch my husband play soccer in the cold
= still a pretty great day. i think i was still on a giddy hairspray high - or i might not have been such a nice wife!!
