Anyway, as of Sunday January 1, 2012 i am 34 weeks pregnant!! that is a big number - and signifies something even bigger - in 6 weeks (give or take) we are going to be PARENTS. and yes mom, we know that that means you are going to be a grandma!
in terms of a 'pregnancy update' i am still feeling really good. i feel huge and a little front heavy but aside from that, nothing to complain about. oh, and the fact that stairs officially kick.my. butt.
at my most recent doctors appointment everything looked good and the baby is facing down already, so things are lining up!
oh, and in case you are wondering. yes i am frightfully nervous about the fact that 34 weeks also means that in 6 weeks i have to DELIVER. i try to skip over thinking about that part and just think about the baby i will get to hold.
in terms of getting ready for the baby - we are a lot farther along then we were 2 weeks ago.
- we have been passed down a crib, bassinet, rocking chair & rocking horse.
- we've purchased a new crib mattress
- the nursery is painted and the fabric is bought for curtains & pillows (pictures to come when finished)
- we bought our first outfit for the baby (as we realized we probably should have something to bring him/her home in)
- we were given a carseat/stroller combination as a gift from my grandparents.
so we are doing pretty good. there are a number of things (like a pack of diapers and socks) that we should probably get in the next 4 weeks or so, but we aren't too worried. we'll have lots of stuff soon enough!
overall, we are just counting down the weeks.

6 weeks till baby
bring. it. on.
