here's the thing.
i reallly enjoy writing.
i know it seems silly but i really enjoy it.

i told my friends the other day that i miss research papers (sad... i know).
and while i currently have an events planning job i feel like i need a creative outlet.
i could scrapbook (and i still enjoy it) but it takes a lot of time and effort.
and i have realized,
since, 'tying the knot', that it takes a lot of effort to work full time, have a farmer husband,
cook, clean and manage a home AND i don't even have kids. (kudos to my mom!!)
as well. since i don't have the internet at home, too far out in the boonies i fear, this means that
these posts are created, processed and finished on the job (unbeknownst to my colleagues). so i must keep them short and too the point, which i realize that i am not doing.

nevertheless i would like to take a minute to explain the name of the blog.

i have been inspired!!

Inspired is a strange word:
in-spired
aroused, animated or inbued with the spirit to do something
i found another blog. 1000awesomethings!

this man is awesome.
he finds beauty and awesome in everyday life.

and i realized something
i really love my life.
i mean really love it

.... mostly
i don't love getting up early. i don't love bats in my bedroom. and i don't love garbage
but the thing is - i am really blessed
and i really love my life!!
in my profile i described myself in a very simple manner.
i love my life. i love my family. i love my husband. i love my God
(not necessarily in that order..... :)

but they are the things and the people that give me Everyday Joy (hence the title)
often they also give me pain & annoyance, especially in reference to my family & husband.
but i couldn't do without them. and more than likely - they will be
what inspire my posts. their silliness, their love, thier ambitions and thier presence

anyway, the point of this blog is a creative outlet to talk about what i love,
my everyday joys, and realistically speaking - probably also my sorrows.
but admist sorrows there are so incredibly many joys!!

a special little lady i cleaned tents with once asked me, " do you just, like, love your life"
and i answered then, as i do now.
yes i really do!
i love my life

but i have gone over my self-imposed time length and word limit.
see you another time.
another post
another joy
I think this blog is a brilliant idea! I look forward to reading it. :)
